I've sat here for like 20 minutes just looking at it off and on. It's freaking amazing. You really did put so much attention into every detail because it's like they both just jumped off the page. I mean I'm looking at Lia and I can even see her mom in her, even though I don't think I mentioned her mom on the profile page XD (the profiles cover maybe half of what'll be the first book and the stuff with Lia's mother doesn't come in until later)

And Sam... I always have real issues as to what to dress him in, but he looks good in these. I like how his jacket and breeches are the same color but it still looks like they're of slightly different fabrics, which would make sense.

I dunno... I love this picture so much I keep clicking to my other tabs while I think of the words to describe how and why and maybe I don't have them. You did an amazing job, thank you so much.

I'm still working on your first pic, albeit slowly--I have a cold kicking my butt and I haven't felt like doing much of anything, but it's coming along. I feel like it's totally going to pale in comparison though.

I wish I could like pay you to do an illustration from every chapter or something. It's sooo amazing, thank you again.

This is very romantic to me. The detail in the clothing is impressive. The admiring look in the woman's eyes is beautiful.

Oh yay, I'm happy that you like it! I am so glad that you say I drew the characters how you imagined them. Coming from the creator (you!) of these characters, that's a huge compliment. It was fun drawing & painting this. This is my first time doing an art trade, so I put more detail & effort into it (than most of my artwork). Oh...no, I don't think there was anything about Lia's mother, just the name. Yeah, I tried to make Sam's jacket & breeches look the same colour but a different sort of fabric...I'm happy you noticed that as well.

Take your time with picture. Eek, a cold...I hope you get well very soon. (Nothing is worse than a cold...except maybe a migraine or flu. Either way, all are bad & annoying.)

I love it--I've been staring at it on and off all day o_o I don't want to erase it from my inbox, lol. I appreciate all the effort, it's so pretty... and they look so cozy, lol. It makes me want to try and draw them but I know I'll come up short XD

I'm gonna settle in on the couch and work on that picture in a bit tonight. I can probably get some good progress made that way and I am in the mood to draw. ^^

Hello! Thanks for noticing the tiny detailing I put into this. The colours were very simple but at the same time, I wanted the clothing to look like it was made out of something nice. It's funny, but I am happy with how the stone came out. That's a good thing about watercolour...it's good for making things watermarked/stained/mottled on purpose. (Since it tends to do that anyway.)
